The February 2019 Large Club Conference is hosted by the Rotary Club of Long Beach, in Southern California. Executive Directors, Presidents-elect and Presidents-nominee of large clubs belonging to the Association of Rotary Club Executive Directors (ARCED) are invited to attend. The purpose of the Rotary Large Club Conference (LCC) is to strengthen the working relationship between Presidents-elect and Executive Directors, and to share ideas that relate uniquely to the organization and administration of large clubs with their peers.

Only current paying ARCED members are eligible to register.

Registration deadline is January 11, 2019, in order to be included in the printed conference roster and for boat/bus transportation scheduling.

9:00am – "Agents of Change: Partnerships and International Grants"
                 (morning and afternoon break-out sessions)

12:00pm – Lunch Program – "The Future of Peace" – Paul K. Chappell

5:30pm – Duffy Boat Cruise and Long Beach Yacht Club Dinner

Tuesday – February 12, 2019

9:00am – "The Art of Partnerships" – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

12:00pm – Lunch with the Rotary Club of Long Beach aboard the Queen Mary
                  Guest Speaker, Supreme Court of the United States Associate Justice Anthony M. Kennedy (Retired)

2:15pm – Tour of the Queen Mary

4:00pm – "Volunteer Leadership: Inspiring Through Change"

5:30pm – Evening Dinner Program – "Costco: An Agent of Cultural Change" - John Matthews

Besides the many varied downtown restaurants and shops, the Westin is close to the Aquarium of the Pacific, The Pike Outlets, Shoreline Village, the Queen Mary. Long Beach is conveniently located to other Southern California attractions including Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios Hollywood and much more.

Airport transportation will not be provided for conference attendees. You may wish to contact airport shuttle services to/from the Westin Long Beach hotel.

Conference attendees are invited bring partner/guest to certain meals (see Guest Registration form). Arrangements for outings to local/area attractions may be arranged, depending on interest, as indicated in Guest Registration form.
